Thursday, February 26, 2009. Chad's Decision - Part Deux. Well, doesn't this always happen? Just when you've resigned yourself to something, made peace with it and adjusted, it changes? Yep - that's what happened yesterday. I picked up Chad after school and he gets in the car and says "When can we get me a new mit? My son made me cry right there in the school parking lot. He called Jeni and told her the good news and I heard her squeal with delight! So are we. Bleachers here we come! He's a great catcher!

Thursday, March 26, 2009. So, I haven't been very consistent with this yet, but that's o.k. I'll keep working at it. This week I am thankful -. 1 That I've had 3 of my grandkids here with me since Monday while their parents are on a trip to Arizona. Ryleigh (11), Spencer (8) and Ethan (6) are great reminders to take life a little slower and enjoy the ride a whole lot more. 2 That I was able to find a wonderful, loving home for Rusty. Sometimes it takes me a long time to form my words. This is one of those times. It's a little bit of a long post as well. I had a lot to say. I come from a long line of very strong women. Saturday, December 20, 2008. And this is our daughter Andrea and her husband Greg. They've been married about 2 1/2 years and such a cute couple. They have such fun loving and happy personalities and are such a joy to have around. Andrea has always been the peacemaker in our family and Greg has a terrific sense of humor. Thursday, October 30, 2008. I've been thinking about Grandparents lately. I'm one of those lucky people that had all four of my grandparents alive and well until I was 26. Then my Grandpa Grant died - September 30, 1987. That was tough because he was great! He was neat and organized, loved cocktail peanuts, had a great flattop haircut with really soft hair and loved me so much.
