This morning I read something that said it's unnatural for humans to drink cow's milk because other animals don't try it. The perfect thought at the perfectly wrong time. Baby Girl, whom we've decided to call Maya, made it just in time to see the end of 2014. I'm really glad to not be pregnant anymore. And I wanted to account for her existence and the story of her birth on this here blog a bit. The answer was no. I think the rest of the body was harder to birth than her head! And the baby was completely born just 9 minutes later. Links to this post. Another post about breastfeeding. It means you can feed an adopted child!

This one's still kicking. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He is very loud and sometimes he makes her uncomfortable. She sometimes still smiles involuntarily in her sleep. She’s pretty good at holding her head up. She’s rolled from her stomach to her back like twice I think! She’s pretty strong but she also seems delicate overall. I’m not sure how to explain that one, exactly. She’s sensitive but not especially particular, if that makes sense? She is not colicky like Shep was, either. What a blessing that is!
