This weekend a few of us went to Amsterdam for the day. We took a tour bus through outdoor rec. It was nice not to have to drive but it was still a LONG trip on an uncomfortable bus. There are bikes EVERYWHERE. We got around on a hop on-hop off boat tour. It goes between all the major points of the city through the canals. These houseboats are all over the place. There were some super trashy ones and some pretty decent ones. We went to Anne Frank's house. We took a tour inside, but you can't take pics.

Fjording with the Vikings. Last weekend I went with a group of friends to Oslo, Norway. Us waiting in the airport. It was pouring outside and we got drenched walking from the parking lot to the terminal. And this airport is just built on an old military base so the terminal is a hanger and therefore not very big so there aren't a lot of places to sit. I know it's just a little late, but better late then never, eh? This year I got to be home for Christmas again. Awesome. I flew into Vegas and stayed with my best friend Sarah for a few days. I had a course in NJ for a couple weeks for work. It was a good time and waaaay better than being at work. Even better than that though - one of my best friends from Germany now lives in DC. We met up in NY one weekend, then I went to DC for a few days after my course was over. New York was AWESOME. We went and saw all the Christmas things. Went up to the Top of the Rock. And we wandered all over central park. It was a blast. I love NY. I actually want to live there now. Saying Hello to Abe.
