Our care workers are very carefully selected and vetted. They are skilled in the tasks expected of them. In fact we would only employ people who we felt we could trust to look after our own disabled daughter, Amanda. When we set out to choose our Carers, we quite simply ask ourselves this question: What kind of person would we be happy with, caring for our daughter?

Helping with washing and dressing at breakfast time. Assisting into nightclothes and helping to bed. Emptying and changing catheter bags. PREPARING MEALS AND BEVERAGES. General housework plus other tasks, such as cleaning inside windows, washing and ironing, cleaning out kitchen cupboards, defrosting the fridge etc. After a stay in hospital you might feel the need for some assistance for a short time until you are fully recovered.

HOW THE SERVICE WORKS. We first design a Care Plan to meet your specific requirements. Requirements will naturally vary depending on the circumstances. For example, you might like the idea of looking forward to a regular visit at specific times each day. Alternatively, you might just need someone once a week to do your housework, or shopping.

The statutory services, such as Home Helps and Meals-on-Wheels do an admirable job of work, but are not always able to provide assistance, just when you need it! Our service is highly individual, and where possible, the same carer(s) attend throughout, to establish a good rapport.
