COM 563: Ethics for Professionals. The purpose of this course was to introduce strategic communication ethics in public, private, corporate, and professional fields. Through this discussion-focused course, I learned to defend my ethical reasoning using key theories. As a final presentation, I discussed the ethics (or lack of) in social media publishing that includes tragedy. When is it appropriate to acknowledge a historical or national tragedy on social media? COM561: Multimedia Content Creation introduced us to developing digital content for various platforms, for one brand. I enjoyed this course and have chosen several projects to showcase. I created a campaign on the social topic of my choice; women and strength training. My purpose was to learn new content creation tools and encouraging women to start strength training.
