And with that, junior year has come to an end. エディンバラでのんびりしていた。でもここの生活は死ぬほど大変だった。I can't think of a word in English to describe the stark difference in lifestyles I led in Edinburgh, and in Singapore over the last semester. Both were marked with reflection. But where one was pleasant, appreciative, another was intense, stressful, self-doubting. That's what Singaporeans dissatisfied with Singapore complain about. I guess there is truth to the statement after all.

But just as how there's this wave of emotions that comes when one discovers that one has been robbed, death certainly brings about many many little ripples to the people around the one who has passed on.
