We received 32" in the last 3 days and are expecting another 24" over Christmas, so grab you skis, snowboard or snowshoes and go play! Saturday, December 20, 2008. Friday, March 13, 2009. The adult freeskiing comp was held last weekend on Bobcat chute on Peaked. Competitors for Colorado, Montana and Canada were enjoying great snow conditions here at the ghee. Sonya Lercher of Whistler CA was our women's winner and Bryce Newcomb from Ketchum, ID was the men's winner! The comp was snowed out on Sunday, so the field hit the mountain for a day of powder skiing. Everyone left Targhee with plans on coming back to next years adult freeskiing comp. APRIL 4TH RAIL JAM.

Thursday, November 27, 2008. Grand Targhee Resort and Dreamchasers events will hold a 5K and 10K snowshoe series at Grand Targhee Resort. Entry fee will be- $20/ 5K and $25/ 10K . There will be winner for each race and an overall series winner for both 5K and 10K male / female. Registration will be for 1 1/2 hours before each race on the main plaza. Thursday, January 15, 2009. Rick' Basin Rally / Sasquatch Snowshoe Series. The Rick' Basin Rally Nordic race is this Saturday 17th. The kid's will have a 2.5k race and adults can chose from 5k, 10k, or go big and do a 15k race. Start time is 11:00am out in Rick's / Registration is 9:00-10:30 at the ski school.
