Rise Above The Storm: August 2011
http://risingabovethestorm.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Rise Above The Storm. Thursday, August 4, 2011. Capital Square - Downtown Madison. Although this place is now chalked up and filled with posters, this place is still very beautiful. I especially love Wednesday nights during the summer for their concerts. The place fills and it turns into a great place for people watching - which I love! Open windows and fresh air. Homemade Salsa. YUM! An awakened love for reading - thank you Karen Kingsbury! Tomorrow's lunch date with a sweet friend and her daughter!

http://risingabovethestorm.blogspot.com/2011/11/thankful-november-day-19.html
Rise Above The Storm. Sunday, November 20, 2011. Thankful November: Day 19. I'm thankful for.my parents! Circa 2010 - Mt. Rushmore. Do you have ever one of those days when you think, "I'm turning into my mom." or "I'm turning into my dad."? The older I get, the more I have those moments. But lately, I've noticed that when that happens, I'm not hiding in terror because I'm becoming them, I'm smiling because I can't think of anyone else I'd rather emulate. God has blessed me with parents that have stuck ar...

More Sweet Tea Please?: Me, Myself and I
http://jaggersmom.blogspot.com/2015/07/me-myself-and-i.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Me, Myself and I. The last few weeks I have taken a step back from most social media, tv, books, technology and everything else of the "world". I know you are probably gasping at this or asking yourself if I have lost my mind? I actually got to a point where I thought I was losing my mind! I felt so caught up in the things of this world I couldn't tell if I was coming or going? I felt at times the world had me by the collar and was dragging me which way it wanted! Pinterest/Instag...

Rise Above The Storm: June 2011
http://risingabovethestorm.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Rise Above The Storm. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. I'm not sure if there is anything quite as sweet as what I witnessed the other night. My little brother (who really isn't so little anymore) had a double header baseball game, which meant we showed up to lend a little support and cheer him on. This is why being an aunt/uncle is simply amazing! One of the not so great parts of the night - my brother and sister-in-laws SUV. Not so great! Monday, June 27, 2011. How cool is that? Tuesday, June 21, 2011. To the ...

Enjoying the Course: Not cool, body. Not cool.
http://clarindas.blogspot.com/2012/11/not-cool-body-not-cool.html
PRs and Upcoming Races. Not cool, body. Not cool. Warning: If you're a male reader, you might want to skip this post. I got my period on Monday. I knew it was coming because for the week or so prior my boobs felt like heavy bricks every time I'd unleash them from. My bra. Once that painful heaviness sets in, I know the time is near ish. Sometimes it's a couple of weeks; sometimes it's a couple of days. It's only in the past few years that I've starting experienced this. The aforementioned painful boobs.

Enjoying the Course: Good Day
http://clarindas.blogspot.com/2012/12/good-day.html
PRs and Upcoming Races. Sometimes just writing a whiny post. Is enough to help turn things around. Thanks for all your wonderful, supportive comments. One whiny thing I hadn't mentioned in the post was my lack of warm clothing. I really only had one versatile sweater, and I had worn it everyday for too many days in a row. So, after work I stopped at Savers for a little retail therapy. For $20, I brought home two pairs of work pants 3 sweaters. Yay! 1 new sweater 1 new pair of work pants. Now, I always.
