Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey: September 2007
http://amandaja.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey. Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Well, it's been a long time coming but we may actually be seeing some improvement! Amanda had an appointment with her rheumatologist last week and it was a good one. As Amanda likes to say, she never said "NO" so many times in her life - "does this hurt, does this hurt, etc" and she could answer no to most of 'em! The date for the third annual Amanda's Cruise for JA is coming closer and closer! That's it for now! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://amandaja.blogspot.com/2010/10/ok-time-for-update.html
Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey. Wednesday, October 13, 2010. OK, time for an update! As a fellow JA mom reminded me, it has been some time since I updated this. As I'm sure you all experience, life sometimes gets in the way. So here's where things stand for Amanda. Right now she's doing alright. She had an absolutely awful spring. Her fibromyalgia really kicked her ass. She misssed more school than she attended but she still managed to have an 80% average last year! Her uveitis has been under good c...

Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey: January 2010
http://amandaja.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey. Monday, January 4, 2010. Wow, 2010 already? Where has the time gone! It's been a bumpy ride for Amanda. When she went to see the rheumy in May, she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Well, at least we now have a name for all the pain she's been in without any inflammation! Hope everyone is well and pain free - may 2010 bring improvement for all! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Some Important Arthritis links. Amanda's Cruise for Juvenile Arthritis. View my complete profile.

Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey: April 2008
http://amandaja.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey. Sunday, April 6, 2008. And I'm hoping that means an end to this crummy winter in Southern Ontario. It's been just brutal. Amanda has had a rough one. According to her physio, she's definitely seen an increase in her clients' pain and discomfort this winter. On a more positive note, Amanda won a bronze medal at the county-wide science fair! They had 214 projects. This was her first year doing it so we're pretty proud of that - kids don't often win in their first ye...

Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey: August 2007
http://amandaja.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey. Thursday, August 9, 2007. Amanda went for treatment #3 and we're hoping that it's finally working! We just got back from holidays in Niagara Falls and she was able to tromp up and down the hill a few times - of course, ice cream is a wonderful incentive! She says her jaw is still sore but her ankles and knees are doing much better. So, we're crossing our fingers that this is finally starting to work! Keep your fingers crossed! Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey: Bit of an update...
http://amandaja.blogspot.com/2008/02/bit-of-update.html
Amanda's Juvenile Arthritis Journey. Monday, February 25, 2008. Bit of an update. Hey folks - as a friend so gently reminded me, it's been awhile since I posted an update so here goes! Other than that, not much to report. Her eyes are still fairly clear - whether that's because she's doing well or she's responding well to Remicade, we don't know. And at this point, I don't care! She's doing well and that's all that matters! And just a reminder that March is Juvenile Arthritis Month! Thanks for your help!
