So the big day is over and I'm reeling with excitement to show you guys our wedding photos but I haven't collected them from our photographer so that's gotta wait so I thought I'd just share a little bit about the day without giving too much away. Let's start with the night before. And I kept firm on that throughout, I wasn't going to change a night before the wedding! Gonna side-track here for a moment. Lol But it was lovely! Thursday, June 19, 2014. Jas and I went to Bintan for a quick getaway for his birthday and our 5th anniversary! We stayed at the Banyan Tree which was sooooo lovely. The hotel rooms need a little refurbishment but overall, really can't complain. The first thing we got there, we headed to the spa. The view from the spa waiting room. Tuesday, November 11, 2014. You know how people say that time heals all wounds. Well, they lied. The wounds, they never really heal, they get easier to live with, but they're there and sometimes, they decide to split wide open again out of the blue. Tonight is one of those wound-splitting nights for me. Everytime I walk by her room, I think about how I'll never be able to see her watching her Malay shows or taking an afternoon nap, or how she'll see me walking by and ask if I've eaten or if I'm going out.
