So, I'll share a few with you here. The first Sunday that I went it started pouring on my way to the field.and I mean POURING! I'm not sure if the hard rain is affecting this or not b...

In Desperate Need of God's Grace: Just Another Day...Without Electricity
http://julianapper.blogspot.com/2014/10/just-another-daywithout-electricity.html
In Desperate Need of God's Grace. Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Just Another Day.Without Electricity. So, as I’m writing this post I’m sitting here in the dark because the electricity is out…again. It isn’t an unusual occurrence but just makes life interesting. Plans completely change and life just takes a twist. Thunder and lightening storms are super common during rainy season. We have had some lightening that were National Geographic picture worthy—absolutely stunning! And the downpour that came with it!

http://julianapper.blogspot.com/2014/10/success-pool-walls-are-poured.html
In Desperate Need of God's Grace. Wednesday, October 15, 2014. The Pool Walls Are Poured! Today was definitely an early morning and a long day! Well, let me back up a bit to last night! So, keeping in mind that I had to get up earlier than I normally do I planned to go to bed a bit earlier than I normally do. However, sometimes life does not go as planned! That is one good way to get the heartbeat up! The day was long and tiring but it was still fun to be a part of it all. One revelation that I had w...

I can hardly believe that it has been over 3 years since the last time that I did any writing on my blog. Honestly, that is just a reflection of the fact that I haven't traveled overseas for more than a week or two at a time since 2011. (Ummm.that is just not right in my opinion! I have no doubt that there will be fun things to share about living life here! I'll be writing again soon!

In Desperate Need of God's Grace: Finding the Good Things
http://julianapper.blogspot.com/2011/07/finding-good-things.html
In Desperate Need of God's Grace. Saturday, July 23, 2011. Finding the Good Things. So, to say the least, our first day of our 10 day trip was full of changes. Our plane in La Guardia had some issues- basically, whatever was feeding the air conditioning into the cabin stopped working when we got out on the runway. If it was 0 degrees out it probably wouldn't have been a huge deal but let me tell you that cabin heated up very quickly! We will finally be in Costa Rica! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

In Desperate Need of God's Grace: A Quick Fun Run!
http://julianapper.blogspot.com/2014/10/a-quick-fun-run.html
In Desperate Need of God's Grace. Tuesday, October 7, 2014. A Quick Fun Run! As I was leaving El Salero I greeted Cheyenne and the other jovenes. And went on my merry little way just trying to make 2 miles before it got too dark for me to see potholes and cow poop (yes, the dangers of running in Chiquilistagua! I'm sure that when he left his house this afternoon he did not expect to go running with a Gringa! Gotta love a spontaneous run! October 8, 2014 at 7:22 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://julianapper.blogspot.com/2015/05/hit-with-ton-of-bricks.html
In Desperate Need of God's Grace. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Hit With A Ton Of Bricks. Friday, as I was driving to Erie, it hit me like a ton of bricks. Yup- wham! I'm driving down the highway, listening to a fantastic song by Matt Redman (I can't remember what it was right now but I know that I was enjoying it! However, I am excited to see what God has next for them! Through all of this, I know that I need to be praying for my heart and the hearts of the others in my home church and the transition that we wi...
