My Second Attempt at the Slow Carb Diet. January 19, 2013. That’s a picture of me. No it’s not. but pay attention: This is not a diet, but a change in diet. Make sense? My first attempt at this went well, I lasted 5 weeks, and looked, and felt great. But why did I stop? Rule #1: Avoid white carbohydrates. Rule #2: Eat the same few meals over and over again. Egg whites with one whole egg for flavor. Chicken breast or thigh. Eat as much as you like of the above food items. Just remember: keep it simple...

One Day At A Time. My Road To Transformation. Since I’ve been on a lot of diets in the past, I’ve come to learn what works for me and what doesn’t. For the purposes of this blog (at least right now), I’m going to be following the Slow Carb diet as outlined in The Four Hour Body. By Timothy Ferriss. You’re basically allowed to eat as much lean protein, legumes, and veggies as you could possibly want. No counting calories (which is great, because I’m lazy and bad with math). Some cardio, occaisionally.
