The Florida Railroad Museum is less than an hour north of us, and every year it puts on an event called "A Day Out With Thomas". It's like a miniature carnival for kids where the highlight is a 25-minute train ride on Thomas the Train himself! So his hat is a little big, but it kept the sun out of his eyes! Another Round of Drinks! Friday, February 20, 2015. Well, make that our "snow week"! We ended up being out of school all week for the snowstorm that started on Monday night. King George ended up with 7-8 inches total, which means that buses can't run and kids can't wait at bus stops (when it's a balmy -2 degrees in the morning! We pushed Emily and Jason down on their snow discs, which the kids loved. These mittens are hard to manage! My mittens are wet and my hands are cold! My guys- Jay outlasted us all!

Another Round of Drinks! Monday, July 27, 2015. H" is for Hernia! Well, what can I say? My stone never grows moss! Didn't take much to figure out that this was a hernia (both Carrie and Timmy had ones repaired when they were little). We got delayed until 8:45 AM but surgery only took an hour. Emily did great with the "going to sleep" part (they make the gas smell like bubble gum) and woke up in recovery with a puzzled look like "how did I get here? On the wagon ride to the operating room! Another Round of Drinks! Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Kickin' the Kitchen's Butt. Tim went to visit the granite yard on a rare day off, and he picked out this beautiful steel gray. We matched up some mosaic tile backsplash, which consisted of gray glass, frosted glass, marble, and quartz pieces. We're almost done with this bathroom and then it will be break time around the Drinks' household! New toilet is going in tomorrow and the sink will be reconnected after that. Just Let It Ride. Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers. Sunday, August 9, 2015. The rest of July. The last week of Steve, Ali, and Maisie's summer visit was packed full of fun! We celebrated Pops' and Maisie's birthdays a little early since we were all together, and the cousins loved every minute they had to play together. (We all did! Pops, the ninja. I love that Harper is watching Ryder, and Ryder is holding Maisie's little foot. :). A visit to Ringling for Grann, the mommies, and the kiddos.
