Ponmudi, a hill station situated at an altitude of 1000 meters from the sea level is a perfect spot for one-day trip if you live around Trivandrum, it’s hardly 75 k.m from here. We did’t miss the chance to take a dip in the chilled waters flowing through the hilltop and rocky terrains. Also visited Neyyar Dam on the way back. And finally back home by 9 pm. Though it is just about one inch snow around most places, I enjoyed it thoroughly as this is the first time I get to see snow in my life. The most beautiful snowfall was the one last week while we were at work. I ran outside and stood near the car park for few minutes, I was covered with snowflakes all over my body. It’s pure fun. Remember that Gujarat and Tamil Nadu are the states where the BJP has used Mrs. Gandhi's foreign origin as an issue in the election campaigning and went on to loose all the seats in TN and a major loss in Gujarat. This clearly indicates that the Nation is not eyeing Sonia's foreign origin as an issue any more. Have your say first!
