A Master of None

A Master of None. Thursday, September 18, 2014. Window with a View. Remember this window that I took out in order to put in the sliding glass door? And, remember how dark and depressing my study is? And, remember this amazing view our house has, which was the big reason we bought this property? Well, it just so happens that the architect who designed this house didn't put even one window on the East side of the house to allow you to see this amazing view from inside the house! I am so excited! But, the w...

A Master of None: Remodel--Bedroom 2

http://amasterofnone.blogspot.com/2013/07/remodel-bedroom-2.html

A Master of None. Saturday, July 6, 2013. Sneek Peek- This is how the bedroom looks today:. So, I still haven't picked out the carpet for the first bedroom remodel (which can be seen here. Here's how the bedroom looks before. Notice the "delightful" Phantom of the Opera theme left by the previous owners. Needless to say, my boys haven't been thrilled with that theme for their bedroom. :). Today, deconstruction on the bedroom began:. What more could a mother ask for? UPDATE: The closets are completely rem...

A Master of None: Accordion Swing-arm Wall Lamp

http://amasterofnone.blogspot.com/2014/03/accordion-swing-arm-wall-lamp.html

A Master of None. Monday, March 24, 2014. Accordion Swing-arm Wall Lamp. So ever since I remodeled his room. My son has been begging me to find the time to get him a bedside reading lamp like the ones I installed in his brothers' room. We wired a matching silver power cord to a silver pull chain socket and attached the cord to the backside of an accordion bracket (we took off a mirror I was planning to use in my master bath someday) with 20 gauge wire so that it's not visible from the front. Youre a grea...

A Master of None. Thursday, February 28, 2013. Update- Sneek Peek (scroll down to see more updates as I complete each step)- This is how it currently looks:. I am currently remodeling the first bedroom that two of our boys share. This is how the bedroom used to look:. Reading Nook and Closets Built. Reading Nook Up Close. I'm excited and the boys are anxious to move into their new room. Ready to prime (notice the light fixture I installed in the nook- pretty proud of myself for wiring that). I also wante...

The Davidson Family: November 2008

http://davidsonlasvegasfamily.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 21, 2008. Sorry it has been so long since I have posted any pictures. I figure I better post the events of October since we are entering the Holiday Season and I am sure there will be plenty of pictures taken. . I thought I would just share some of the things Elliot says and does:. Posted by The Davidsons. I had forgotten to grab a bag for Elliot to collect candy in, so Shana's Mom let Elliot borrow this basket. Elliot did not mind carring it around because people were filling it wit...

The Davidson Family: November 2009

http://davidsonlasvegasfamily.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 15, 2009. This gorilla (Shana's brother-in-law) was sitting on Grammy's porch. It was pretty fun to watch trick or treaters avoid the house because of him. The girls were not too sure about sitting on his lap but we got them to do it anyway, at least long enough to take a picture. Posted by The Davidsons. What made this zoo so fun was the interaction with the animals. We got to hold a baby kangaroo and pet a monkey and a sloth. Posted by The Davidsons. Posted by The Davidsons. Landon, Kr...

Swainston Family: Halloween Part 3: Brenton's Class Party

http://kaleandsteph.blogspot.com/2011/11/halloween-part-3-brentons-class-party.html

Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Halloween Part 3: Brenton's Class Party. Alex really lucked out. Since Alex didn't have preschool during Brenton's party, he got to tag along. So.he really got two class parties. LUCKY! Below: After snacks, they went into the gym and played a game of tag. It was one that I remember playing as a kid. I don't remember it being complicated, though. The poor K-1 class couldn't seem to figure out how it really worked. None the less, they did seem to have a lot of fun.

Sunday, October 24, 2010. Demo Derby and Fair (Back in August). Back in August, Crystal and Danny went with us to the Kootenai. County Fair, and of course the demolition derby. We let the boys pick one ride they wanted to go on, and these are what they chose. Alex chose the fish ride (the most boring one we saw). We let Brenton go on the ride with him. We walked around and saw the animals.Brenton even got to pet an alligator. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Demo Derby and Fair (Back in August).

A Master of Nothing Employable. A journey through unDERemployment. How much can I handle. July 27, 2014. So, in continuum from my previous post. I am starting an online graduate assistantship (GA) this next month. And, I’ll be taking a 5 credit hour course load. And, I’ll be working full time at my crisis center job, which includes on call shifts a few times a month. Can I still manage to work about one day a week at the clothing store? Yes, I still work there, a job first referenced in a post from 2010.
