Tales from the Stitchin' Side of Life...: Purse, bag, tote bag, and... oh look! Another purse!
http://stitchinsideoflife.blogspot.com/2011/08/purse-bag-tote-bag-and-oh-look-another.html
Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Purse, bag, tote bag, and. oh look! So I've been thinking about this sewing journey lately. I've had some very basic sewing skills for a couple decades now (you should have been around for my pillow-making phase when I was ten-ish! But it's only been over the past year that I've really focused on developing this talent. I like to practice new (to me) techniques on things like purses and aprons, before attempting them on actual clothing. Yeah for my memory! The purse in the front...

Tales from the Stitchin' Side of Life...: October 2012
http://stitchinsideoflife.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 20, 2012. A Birthday Gift Accomplished. Maybe it's because I like to make my friends smile. Maybe it's because I'm always looking for my next sewing challenge. Maybe it's because I like getting cool gifts myself. Whatever the reason, I frequently find myself stashing ideas away - either on. In my creativity journal, or little notes that I inevitably lose - for things that I just HAVE to make for upcoming birthdays, rainy days, and holidays. I actually made it! I got the idea from these.

Tales from the Stitchin' Side of Life...: The Bopple Ball Challenge!
http://stitchinsideoflife.blogspot.com/2011/07/bopple-ball-challenge.html
Sunday, July 10, 2011. The Bopple Ball Challenge! Since I had never seen anything like this before, I'll explain it as if noone has seen anything like this before. In other words, with a LOT of pictures! Introducing, the Bopple Ball! A good friend of mine, that I've known for over two decades (EEK! BACK TO THE SEWING PROJECT! As his name implies, he's a boy, so all the cute little girl outfits I'd seen were obviously out of the question. I was walking around. Because I was repeatedly shoving. The back e...

Over the next few days, my mom and I will find this helpful as we roadtrip around Western Washington. To learn more about the hop, visit it's official website - http:/ www.washingtonquiltshophop.com/. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm learning to sew and I'm taking you all along for the ride! Join me, would you?

The Tuletts: September 2010
http://nateandcarlee.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 13, 2010. The boys and I flew home to visit my family (and go to Tyrel's wedding-even though I have no photo evidence of that! Link fell asleep in the car for maybe the third time in his life. Papa just wore him out! My sister, Icel called and met the kids, our mom, and I at Red Robin to do some catching up and some good old fashioned eating-one of my favorite activities. Her kiddos are so much fun, and Reid has been asking about them ever since! Papa and his boys! This is my kid's most...

The Tuletts: May 2010
http://nateandcarlee.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 24, 2010. Father-Son Camp Out 2010. So, as you can see, the father-son camp out. Was a winner for my two biggest guys this year. There has been a lot of rain here this spring, and since it was just daddy and Reid things got a little.out of hand mud-wise. Reid seriously came home looking like this. Apparently he got right into the mud on day 1, and spent the rest of the trip with nature-made sunscreen. What a stinker! With our massive use of baby wipes. Getting into bed all squeaky-clean!

The Tuletts: Mom of Three
http://nateandcarlee.blogspot.com/2011/05/mom-of-three.html
Tuesday, May 17, 2011. So, this post is kind of a lot of pictures of Finn, but he's just so cute I know you won't mind =). Anyway, how am I doing with three? Many people warned me about the dreaded transition from 2 to 3, but I have to say that I really don't think there could be anything harder for me than going from 0 to 1, (when I had Reid) that was the shock of a lifetime! Finn has gotten so BIG! I just had my first workout postpartum yesterday, and it felt great! This is the first time THAT has happ...

The Tuletts: January 2010
http://nateandcarlee.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 31, 2010. I am relatively new to running. I was a sprinter in high school and college, but I have only been running distance for the last couple of years. I have always felt like I was at a disadvantage because I am not really built like a traditional marathon "runner," but I have recently realized that I have been holding myself back, and I can be better than I thought! I didn't take any pictures because I was by myself, but on Saturday morning I ran my fastest 5K ever! I kind of had this.

Remembrances: Conversation with Choir Director
http://johnandpatfawcett.blogspot.com/2013/06/conversation-with-choir-director.html
Memories of John and Pat Fawcett. Friday, June 14, 2013. Conversation with Choir Director. To practice at home following the tones on the computer. Her job would be to meet with the choir before church for a couple of run-throughs. This would be in addition to the special numbers we prepare once a month. You can eliminate or diminish the parts others sing and just rehearse your notes (I sing bass). Perhaps she thinks I'm off base. And we can sing along with our computer. Brett could have helped me on the...
