Monday, January 13, 2014. My New Year Starts February 1st! Since I've been sick for basically the entire New Year so far I've decided 2014 isn't really starting for me until February 1st :) Matt and I are going to celebrate Friday the 31st and pretend like its our New Year's Eve! Matt and I don't have kids but we do have our two dogs, Cajun and Lady. I talk about them A LOT. They're both hilarious and get in to a ton of trouble. God knew what he was doing when he gave them to us, haha. This is Cajun, he's 2 and he's a spaniel/lab/various and assorted other breeds mix. He's a nervous wreck and takes medicine for anxiety. Monday, March 17, 2014. I've gotten better lately though. I've changed what I eat, how I eat, and when I eat. Hello and Welcome to my Blog! My name is Amber :) I'm a thirty-something that loves animals, the beach, wine, reading and shopping. I'm married to Matt! This is a picture of myself, my Mom and Matt on our wedding day). We met in Southeast Virginia where we both grew up and moved to South Carolina a few years ago for my job. We now live in a small coastal town in South Carolina called Myrtle Beach. We have two dogs, Cajun and Lady. They are both rescues from St. Frances Animal Shelter.

Sunday, April 27, 2014. Every time I volunteer at a race of any sort whether it be a 5K, half marathon or marathon, I leave with the running bug. It might not seem like a lot of fun to stand around and hand out bagels or water for 6 hours (man standing in place for 6 hours makes me sore :) , but it so is!
