Halloween Howling: January 2011
http://halloween-howling.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
All Hallow's Eve. Samhain. Dia de los Muertos. Friday, January 21, 2011. Who doesn't love Halloween? Well, i'm sure there are lots. Of people who don't. It's a rhetorical question! But i certainly do! I have a nice little collection of Halloween folk art mostly. But i love vintage Halloween! Too bad it's so outrageously expensive! So maybe i'll just do some paintings in that theme instead! To make it an affordable way to have 'vintage' decor! Man, it would be the highlight of my year! Other Blogs of Mine.

The Girl of Many Quests - a vagabond life for a bohemian artist wannabe. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Yet Another New Plan of the Hour - - EUROPE. For the last month or two, i've been researching and planning a 'move' to Europe, leaving Spring, 2014. No plans as to how long. just indefinitely. Been talking to a few guys in London, which makes it more real and comfortable knowing i'd have friends there. Finally a true GypsyKat? Or yet another swing of the Indecision Pendulum? We shall see. we shall see.

The Girl of Many Quests - a vagabond life for a bohemian artist wannabe. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Lol i wish i could change my name to Gypsy Sparrow now (but that name is taken). I find that the bird inspires me! I DO have a sparrow tattooed on my arm (thanks to my daughter's and my matching tattoos). and i just yesterday bought a cheap little pendant that 'spoke' to me. An empty (3-D) bird cage and a sparrow flying away. To me, it represents my strong need for freedom! Even though i'm a 'kat'! And reall...

I've found something that resonates with what i want to do SO much. And i found it in a post by Earl. I've wanted to volunteer on my journeys around the world, but could only ever find places that expect you to pay BIG BUCKS (i'm talking thousands! I'll be travelling with a small daypack. that's all! My Life in a Cupcake. Formerly titled "Amber's Filawsuffy n Stuff"). Friday, March 21, 2014. This is not a real post. It's just for convenience sake. Just trying to get my ducks in a row. Made a wallpaper for my tablet/phone out of one of my paintings (much brightened), so maybe if i lose it, someone will be nice and follow the instructions. I post it here because my phone doesn't seem to want to let me upload it from anywhere else, but it does have this blog's pics. hehe. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life in the Great White North. ONE YEAR NORTH OF 60 (or so i thought) . Friday, August 6, 2010. Getting to know you. I've been chatting with a few people from Yellowknife recently. making a few friends. It's nice to be able to ask a real Yellowknifer questions about YK! Hehe And fun to get to know new people! I'm really looking forward to meeting them IRL! I would love to meet some artists up there as well, and be a part of the art scene if possible. IF there is one! There are some fabulous artists in YK!

The entire. Day and evening, and i’m not even half finished! Haven’t even looked. Oh, so much fun is to be had up North!

Life in the Great White North. ONE YEAR NORTH OF 60 (or so i thought) . Monday, December 17, 2012. Sights on: Iqaluit, Nunavut! My most recent explanation to why i do what i do is here. Why on earth do i want to live in Iqaluit, Nunavut in the Canadian Arctic? For a few reasons. Because i simply (and inexplicably) have a deep need to live in the Arctic. it touches my soul. Because i want to (try to) learn to read and speak Inuktitut. Because i want to do my DUTY to help protect Canadian Arctic Sovereignty.
