http://killmersinjapan.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Our time in Osaka, Japan. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Flat Stanley's cousin, Flat Wyatt comes to visit. One of Karen's friends from NC has a nephew who's class is in the midst of reading about the adventures of Flat Stanley which means. all the kids prepare to embark on adventures of their own. I was thrilled when Mel asked if Flat Wyatt could come for a visit! I have such fond memories of our kids doing this same project when we were at Sanford School). Here's Flat Wyatt on his first scooter ride! They s...

Killmers In Japan: Lost and Found!
http://killmersinjapan.blogspot.com/2011/05/lost-and-found.html
Our time in Osaka, Japan. Sunday, May 29, 2011. Then Jesus told them this parable. Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep! And rejoicing we are! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bet, Dan and family.

victoria noelle: October 2014
http://missvictorianoelle.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The chance to find yourself. Saturday, October 25, 2014. Hey y'all, I thought maybe a new design would motivate me to write a little more frequently. No promises though :) Back to paper writing for now. I don't like work- no man does- but I like what is in the work,- the chance to find yourself. Your own reality for yourself, not for others- what no other man can ever know." -Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness. View my complete profile. Lessons Learned from Kellie. I should be packing. It's a good anxious.

victoria noelle: Lessons Learned from Kellie
http://missvictorianoelle.blogspot.com/2012/08/lessons-learned-from-kellie.html
The chance to find yourself. Monday, August 13, 2012. Lessons Learned from Kellie. I was sitting in the middle of the leader meeting, trying to figure out how to nicely say “it’s not my job to make sure all 350 kids are eating” to the leaders when I saw her. She was whispering to her co-leader and I couldn’t quite figure out why she looked so familiar. I squinted to see her nametag when it hit me- That’s Kellie! It’s good to see that even after that week, you decided you wanted to come back to camp!

victoria noelle: A whirlwind.
http://missvictorianoelle.blogspot.com/2012/10/a-whirlwind.html
The chance to find yourself. Friday, October 5, 2012. That’s all I can think of when I try to describe last week- a total whirlwind. And then at 5pm on Monday of last week, my sister called me to say that she’d just talked to Carrie. Papa had decided against continuing dialysis since the cancer wasn’t treatable, and if we wanted to say goodbye, we needed to go now. Three hours later we were on a plane with Little Missy headed to LAX. Watching my grandmother say goodbye to the man she loved for more than ...

The chance to find yourself. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. And I Do, Cherish You. The end of a really great night. Which was just the first of many adventures we shared together. Needless to say, it was wonderful to witness her marry the love of her life, and being surrounded by Valpo people wasn't so bad either. It never takes very long for me to remember why I chose Valpo, and why I loved it so much while I was there- such good people! Garden of the Gods. View my complete profile. victoria noelle: there are worse places for a "forced vacation"
http://missvictorianoelle.blogspot.com/2014/11/there-are-worse-places-for-forced.html
The chance to find yourself. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. There are worse places for a "forced vacation". About two weeks ago, Tres and I returned from an impromptu trip to Lompoc. Only two years earlier, we'd gotten a call that my grandfather was hospitalized with metastatic cancer and only had a few days to live, so we jumped on a plane to say our goodbyes. (You can read more about that trip here. During the drive, I tried to figure out my goals of being there. Simply act as a family advocate? I don't...
