Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Great Start for a Budding Photographer. When I first got started into serious photography, I knew I needed to make the jump from my point-and-shoot to an actual DLSR. (Even then the term "DSLR" intimidated me! I looked a lot of places for references and ideas, and they were so overwhelming to me as a beginner. I just wanted a camera! I couldn't have picked a better start. My Olympus E-500 was a great purchase (at that time a $800.00 bargain! Want to see what this baby can do?

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Yesterday was filled with excitement and - what else? Nathan and I photographed children from infant to toddler for Shannon Green, also known as The Green Mommy. She had the set ready to go, and I was ready with my lense, and together we got great results! It was really great working with Shannon, expanding my portfolio, and also learning the benefits of cloth diapers. Nathan and I have decided to use them for our children (when they get here! They sent every Kenworth (9 trucks) they had in Alaska to North Dakota along. With several drivers. They just bought two new Kenworths to add to that. Sunday, August 15, 2010. Nathan and I having a lot of fun together. He just bought a new previously owned video game that we can play together. And since Mom brought down the appropriate cables, we can actually use the PS2 for gaming rather than a bookend (thanks, Mom). For lunch today, we had one of our favorite meals: bass filets, slow-cooked summer squash and onions, and steamed greenbeans. YUM! There is a sauce that I made to go with the fish. I found it online, and it was so worth the searching!
