Juniors Amazing Journey. Loving, Laughing, Learning, and Living Life to the Fullest. Friday, August 7, 2015. Hard to believe it is already time to start another school year. The public schools here started this past week but we aren't really starting until next week. Several weeks of activities are ready for him and his teacher came by to discuss what we are doing in the coming weeks so she can be on the same "page" when she comes out for his weekly sessions. It usually takes about 48 hours for him to recover following a seizure so when we hit the 72 hour mark and he was still struggling I knew it was time to talk to his doctor. With his seizures there is always risk of aspiration and he was needing extra oxygen and vent time. This afternoon he got a very special...
