Monday, April 16, 2012. 1 cup Mutter (green peas). 1 cup paneer cubes. 1 tsp cumin seeds. 1/2 tbsp coriander powder. 1/2 tbsp cumin powder. 1 tbsp garam masala powder. 1 tbsp fresh cream ( Milk is a good substitute). Coriander leaves (for garnish). Heat oil add cumin when they splutter add onion and fry till they are golden brown. Add tomatoes and all the spices along with green peas. Add little water and cook in medium flame for about. 5-10 mins, till the green peas is cooked. Upkari / Side curry.

Sunday, April 22, 2012. Chicken - 500 gms. Onion - 2 medium. Fennel seeds pwd- 1/4 tbsp. Mustard - 1 tsp. Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tbsp. Turmeric pwd - 1 tsp. Red chilly pwd - 1 tbsp. Freshly ground pepper - 1 tbsp. Tomato - 2 medium. Garam masala pwd - 1/2 tbsp. Wash and chop chicken to small pieces. Heat oil in a fry pan. Add chicken and brown in oil. Remove and add chopped onion. Add cumin and mustard seeds when it crackle. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Stir for a minute.

Poori with vegetable kurma. 2 cups chopped mixed vegetables. 1 medium onion (chopped). 2 tsp chilli powder. 2 medium tomatoes (chopped). 1 tsp coriander powder. 1 tsp garam masala. 1 inch ginger grated. 2 sticks of cinnamon. 1 cup coconut milk. 1 tsp mustard seeds. Coriander leaves (for garnish). Cook the vegetables in little salted water. In a kadai heat ghee and add mustard, curry leaves, cinnamon, and cloves. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt and stir it. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup of fresh strawberries. 1 tbsp powdered sugar. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.
