This chair is ten years old purchased from Retrospect in Chicago. The green twill was faded and stained. I finally got to try my hand at a reupholstery project. The upholstery supplies and tools are from Beacon Fabrics. They were really fast with packaging and shipping my order and answered questions by email so I go the right supplies. Inside Fabrics has a huge selection of fabrics. The one I used was Fabricut Kampai in tidepool. The fabric looks great with the room and it will wear well.

Plants Die Sometimes, It’s Okay. I purchased 5 of this Boris Avens or Geum coccineum ‘Borisii’. In May of 2014. Three survived the first summer. A friend gave me one (Thank you Marlon! And then another one of the original ones died this winter. I have only one blooming this spring. See that one bloom, above. Each avens plant cost $4.50 making this one bloom cost $22.50. I love it. This is not a high probability plant. I do have this weakness for trying the hard-to-grow selections.
