Tuesday, May 31, 2005. My first blog entry. Ok, I finally set up a blog linked to my website. Some topics to. Reflections on life in Seattle, now that we moved here from Jordan. Thoughts on American and Middle Eastern politics. Thoughts on the nature of God, which should hopefully go some ways towards refuting my acquired (though inaccurate) image of irreligiousness. Thursday, December 01, 2005. Bush sharpens his Iraq rhetoric. Note that I said "America" and not "this administration". These guys are rubbish; why would anybody with half a brain still think that they can get the "job" done given their track record so far? Stay the course or not, these guys will not fix Iraq. The next administration cannot come soon enough. In the meanwhile we will just have to suffer the increasingly pathetic tragicomedy in Washington DC that we're forced to live with.

chalo bolo - deep dhillon: Embracing the Other
http://chalobolo.blogspot.com/2012/08/embracing-other.html
Wednesday, August 08, 2012. As a little background, I only became a fully turbaned and bearded Sikh two and a half years ago, and for almost a year of that time I was out of the country. So I was not with a turban in the virulent wake of 9/11, nonetheless, it still strikes me as curious. Lovely blog post - you are so right, if we could all just embrace diversity the world would be a better place. I remember as a child being a bit scared of Sikh teenagers who wore turbans - because they were so differ...

Thursday, October 06, 2005. Generational gap, Jordanian style. Technically speaking, of course, one is allowed up to 4 wives in Islam, but is it considered OK, from an Islamic moral standpoint to hide this information about one spouse from the other(s)? Also, which act is more moral, the secret mistress of the father or the secret wife of the son? Posted by Samer Kurdi at 10:44 PM. Seattle, Washington, United States. View my complete profile. Studio Kids - Children's Art Classes in Ballard, Seattle: Location
http://www.studio-kids.com/p/where.html
Located on lovely Sunset Hill in Ballard, Seattle, classes are held in our backyard painting studio. It is an inspirational space with a colorful living roof and an interior flooded with natural light even on the grayest of Seattle days. French doors open up to an outdoor patio and garden allowing for endless opportunities to draw and paint in a natural setting. The patio is trimmed by a mosaic, my most recently completed project. Our full address is: 8011 29th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98117. Ok bye, the blog.
