Friday, June 10, 2011. Hello, today I offer you yet another doodle from my hands. This "Sun Explosion" is a mix of ingraving and collage. I don't know how you call this technique in English. I think in French it's embosser. So maybe you can say embossing. I ingraved a piece of wood which I later printed without ink but on a wet paper. So you can actually see the image in 3D. On top of it I added flowers that I love cutting in printed papers that I kept from my school workshop (leftovers of course!

Mardi 7 juin 2011. Le temps des cerises (c'est facile, mais tant pis). C'est le temps des cerises! Voilà déjà trois clafoutis. Que j'ai eu à préparer depuis le début de la saison. Avec un filet de kirsch, d'extrait d'amande amère, de copeaux de pâte d'amande, etc. On peut s'amuser autour de la base de ce flan. Recette pour 8 parts:. 1 pincée de sel. 120g de sucre 30g. 1 filet de kirsch ou d'extrait d'amande amère. La surface dorée n'attend qu'une pluie sucrée pour être parfaite. Moi je l'ai goûté. Mardi 26 juillet 2011. Il y a peu de temps, j'ai assisté au deuxième mariage de l'année. Encore un à faire dans quelques semaines! Hormis les chapeau et le sac que j'ai confectionné pour l'occasion, j'ai aussi fait une petite carte pour féliciter les jeunes mariés. Non, ne nous séparez pas! Après avoir fait celle-là, j'ai eu envie d'en faire avec des couples connus, en ajoutant un détail marquant. Mais ça ce sera pour plus tard. Dans ma petite boutique. Les couleurs sont parfaites. Heure dans le potage.
