Gardening and observing nature in India's north-east. After A Long While…. Today’s Flowers/Kalanchoe →. Flowers From a Cemetery. January 13, 2013. Miniature roses bloom at a war cemetery in our city. This cemetery was established during World War II and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is beautifully kept and despite being in the heart of the city, it’s serene and peaceful. Several ground orchids were in bloom when I visited the place a few days ago. Hello from north-east India!

This nacimiento grouping, (as the narivity scene is called in some latin countries), shares respite moments under the shade of the crimson Mexican poinsetta. These pieces are of fired clay.
