http://breakfastatkarens.blogspot.com/2012/09/lost-in-book.html
For your mind, body and soul. Lost in a book. I’ve rediscovered my love of reading. Once again, I feel like that little kid sitting on the floor of her pink bedroom. My long and sometimes ashy brown legs would be stretched way out against the light green carpet. I was lost in a book. I remember this intensely pleasurable reading taking place during the summer of my childhood. My mother, a school teacher, would be home with us during the long summer months. Go get your things. This was followed by jobs th...

For your mind, body and soul. Pew - awl - ep. Puyallup, Washington is about 35 miles south of Seattle. Pew-awl-ep is also where I spent my Thanksgiving. I was visiting my aunt, my father's sister, and her chldren who also live in the Seattle area. I've been out to Seattle a few times either for work or to visit the same family. This time, I fnally asked my aunt the question I've been wanting to ask her forever. How in the world did you get way out here? And your parents gave me a wedding reception.

For your mind, body and soul. The Waffle House and Friends. Yesterday I did one of my most favorite things in the whole wide world. I had breakfast with a friend. I do this often. I'm sure that some would think that this could get to be quite expensive. But my ready reply is that it is much cheaper than a therapist or prozac. Having these heart-to-heart sessions a few times a month with a sane female friend is good for the soul. Say Karen. So Joyce said,. Hey Kurrrn, let's make a New Year's resolution.
