American Academy School follows an American curriculum from the state of New York covering the requirements of the NESA and the AERO standards. We take into consideration the diverse and multinational nature of the community. In spite of having English as our school instructional language, the Arabic Language is a key element of the curriculum. We accommodate both native and non-native speakers of Arabic. Students should attend school in full school uniform. If the proper full school uniform is not worn they will be referred to a Discipline Coordinator and possibly sent home. Make-up is not allowed. Students are expected to dress appropriately at all times, both on and off campus. One, plain earring/stud may be worn by girls but there should be no other body piercing or other distracting jewelry. Girls are expected to have their hair tied at all times.
