Americans living as brits. It’s almost goodbye…. Parting is such sweet sorrow…. But now there are days I can’t stop tearing up because I realize how much I am going to miss it here. Now I look forward to walking the kids to school and picking them up, because I am accepted, I am one of “them.” Kylie asked me this morning why I keep saying hi to everyone. It’s because I finally belong. I feel like I’ve made it, and there are days when I think, I’m not sure I want to go home. Home is where the heart is.

Americans living as brits. It’s no big secret that the crisps (chips) here are… well… uhm…errr…. Than what we have in the States. Yesterday Scott came home from Tesco Express with 3 bags of crisps for us to do a taste-test. And much to everyone’s surprise, they weren’t half-bad! In fact, one bag got a resounding, “ooh! Days But those days didn’t last, which only made our spring that much harder because after all, when the hot weather is here to stay, we get to open the POOL! Over the weekend, that day finally came.
