Tuesday, February 22, 2011. At the beginning of 2010, I set a goal to learn to scuba dive. Unfortunately, for various (somewhat illegitimate) reasons, I never accomplished that. Mrs. co-parent surprised me with the gift of a pre-paid open-water course. This Saturday, I'll have my first class, with dives to follow. I'm really happy about this, particularly because I have been told that there is a sunken submarine off the coast of Beirut. I can't wait to go dive down to that! Friday, February 11, 2011.

Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Today, I introduced my oldest daughter to strawberry custard pies from McDonalds. It was well received. May 26, 2011 at 2:15 PM. I have to admit that I LOVE their strawberry shake. As a missionary my companion and I would take the metro into Petersburg on P-day so that I could get myself some American sugar! Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Again, another mashedup post, rattled off days after the events. You're welcome. First, as it required, the incredibly trite stuff: My new fitness routine has been producing decent results. I've lost middle fat, while retaining my previous strength levels, so hooray. My approach consists of alternating days of weights and interval training, with practice sessions for my micro-triathlon thrown in. I need to learn to pace myself on the swim. 2: Oh, that's interesting.

On mine I wrote that I wanted to run a 5k, 10k, 1/2 Marathon and Full Marathon. I didn't run at all back then. I was homeschooled and wasn't part of any type of sport. I took Tennis lessons one summer if you want to count that. That year I took up running. When I was 21 I found that old list and decided to do something about it.

The only dificult part was that most patterns don't assume you're going to be using french seams and they don't write their instructions for that. We'll I sewed a new baby blessing dress using the French Seams and it looks great! When I came home from that shopping trip I put the dress on the table.next to Fred's cage. Now it has little blackberry stains.
