Life in Norway. An Amerikansk Perspective. Looking back I always dreamed of at least being bilingual although in those dreams I imagined rattling off phrases in Italian, Spanish, French or even German. I have to admit Norwegian wasn't in the lineup. But when you fall in love and marry a Norwegian priorities change. :) When you pack up and decide to move to Norway they change even more! Although, being American I've noticed that most of the Norwegians I've met enjoy testing their English skills with me.
