She had an extra ticket to the Saturday show at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival so we went. I drove. After 10 minutes of driving I got pulled over. I got a ticket. I was pissed. Last Chance Power Drive. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Day 21: Coaldale, CO. I woke up and Parkinson's wife made me a big omelet for breakfast before I headed west. I skipped all of the excitement and drove across Kansas to Colorado. I went to the REI in Colorado Springs and stocked up on some things including a first aid kit which I had sold in Philadelphia. Last Chance Power Drive. Thursday, June 3, 2010. Day 1: Raleigh, NC to Millersville, MD. I left today. Bruce and I sang 'Born to Run' as I got on Capital Boulevard headed north. (personally I think I sound better than he does but he wrote it so whatever). There was good weather for driving, partly cloudy with no rain. The only stop I made was to snap a pic of my first state-line-crossing. Yes, that is a tractor trailer on my American flag (which I got at a flea market in the Czech Republic.).
