A Change of style is a change of subject." Stevens. Language used in the service of the experience. This is similar to the say in which Faulkner writes. His description of the experience is the only way to realize the actual experience. In order to get the true experience we must suffer through Faulkner's difficult syntax.

I know it isn't the most beautiful passage within this work but I really enjoy it simply because it is such an accurate and eloquent description of that it is like to be that age, the Jr. High age.
