http://isewquiltsuk.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Google Website Translator Gadget. Saturday, 25 October 2014. I've had a couple of fun busy weeks. Bev and daughter Claire arrived to stay with me for a couple of nights, they had been to Moscow, Norway and then arrived in England and traveled on to Wales when they left me. Look at my beautiful gifts Bev made for me. Oh I do love a bit of pink and brown. Thanks Bev they will go on my sewing room wall as soon as I get time. Look how tiny that basket is! Main reason I couldn't hang around is that I'm off to...

Saturday, August 24, 2013. Little Nine Patch Doll Quilt. With a week to spare I finished Kathleen Tracy's August sew along mini quilt. Little Nine Patch Doll Quilt. I took it outside as the sun was setting to capture the true colors. The free pattern is available here. Ten days from now I will be heading north to the wonderful woodlands of Minnesota for seven glorious days of what is fondly referred to as RETREAT! When we travel in packs, it's easy to get excited about a project we think everyone. August...

http://isewquiltsuk.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Google Website Translator Gadget. Wednesday, 18 February 2015. I've actually got around to some sewing on Abigail's quilt but have run out of the light background fabric. Thank goodness for the Internet and have had a lovely afternoon searching and eyeying up lots of gorgeous fabrics but I have stuck to my guns and only bought what I need. Wow what's wrong with me! Lots of hexagons to be made but I enjoy making these whilst sitting by the fire in the evenings with a good film on. Monday, 2 February 2015.

Max now 5 weeks old who is constantly hungry but thriving. Yep that's me in there! I couldn't stop laughing because as fast as I was trying to put the tent up Abi was trying to get in it. This is our new hideout for picnic and stories. I am a little further on with this but as I'm writing this in bed I don't have an up to date photo.

Google Website Translator Gadget. Sunday, 11 May 2014. A Day With Di Ford. What a special day we had on Saturday with Di Ford coming to do a workshop at my home. I know everyone learnt such a lot from her in the time she spent with us. Now I really do need to either sit and sew day in and day out for the rest of my lifetime or find the elixir of life so i can get through the mountain of fabric. Di bought some of her quilts to show us and the detail in them is simply amazing. Detail in Rotherfield Grey.

I SEW QUILTS: December 2014
http://isewquiltsuk.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Google Website Translator Gadget. Tuesday, 23 December 2014. The weeks just seem to fly by and here we are with Christmas upon us. Whilst out doing some shopping I spotted this quilt in the local pop up market. Nice even quilting and in good condition. I've always wanted to make an Ocean Waves quilt but haven't got round to it, so this means I probably won't have to make one now! Justified it as an early Christmas present from me to me, it's good to choose your own presents don't you think? Calico Creati...
