July 28, 2013. Mariner's vs. Twins. A beautiful day at Safeco Field with great friends! Posted by Ibe Family. July 27, 2013. Elevation Gain: 2200 ft. Time: 2:36 up, 2:15 down. The views along the way were amazing . this is definitely our favorite hike thus far. Literally our "heads were in the clouds".. This is where we are headed . a little daunting when looking up at it.. A view from the old lookout tower.. April 19, 2014. We enjoyed a "leisurely" 40 mile bike ride through Mount Vernon, WA during the Tulip Festival. Although the smell of cow poop often overtook the charm of the area all in all it was a great day. The last 10 miles led us to the always amazing tulip fields and into the incoming storm. December 31, 2013. It seems like yesterday that we were ringing in 2013. Well, I guess the saying is true, "time flies when you are having fun". I started school again in January to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. It took a bit of time to get back into the swing of school, but I'm loving it and I'm looking forward to graduation in September 2014. I'm also looking forward to having a career that is fulfilling. September 10, 2013. What a difference 2 years makes . While time may change the way we look on the outside, it gives us the opportunity to improve what is on the inside. Monday, March 7, 2011. So, we have a teenager. Bet you didn't know that. She is on loan to us from her lovely family in Orange County, CA. We call her our exchange student from a foreign land called California. She is, however, becoming more Southern everyday. Pretty soon she'll be embracing big hair, boots and rodeos! April 26, 2014. Special Olympics Regional Track Meet. These events are always so fun to attend. The joy that these kids experience and exude is refreshing. Despite their disabilities, and all the other daily drama we all experience, they are just happy to be here hanging out with their friends and teammates. December 21, 2013. We were able to sneak away to Whistler B.C. for a few days before Christmas to enjoy some R&R and skiing. Although the snow wasn't optimal it was still great fun. We are looking forward to some better snow in April (fingers crossed). Skiing above the clouds. The snow covering was light, but the first day the skiing was great! Guess who we ran (or skied) into?
