Let's say you need to manufacture a little red wagon just the way you want it. Who would you take it to? A machine shop could do the machining that it would require to swivel and roll. But, who would do the sheet metal work to make the body? Most important is who would ensure the wheels fit on the body? Who would put the finish on it?
