Random Update - February 2009 Style. February 18th, 2009. I'm in the stretch that's leading to the end of teacher's college! I'm currently in my second and last placement, in a grade two classroom and I'm loving it! My associate teacher is really great this time around, very supportive and generally a fantastic teacher - I'm learning, and will continue to learn, A LOT from her! At the end of March, I head back to Brantford for three weeks, and then I'm finished my program around April 16th!

Trin here. The ITG tournament in Ottawa was fantastic, with a great turnout and a better-than-expected location in the Midway arcade. Thanks to Devin's organization (huh? And Niall's scorekeeping, all went smoothly from beginning to finish and we ended up being ahead of time! The winners of the Expert tourney were: Ricky in first place, Devin in third, and. our own Metroid11. Ended up in 12th place overall and Mantis. Was close behind in 14th. Not half bad guys =). Way to go Pui! Her final match was agai...

Tales from Abroad by Omiya -an account of my life in Japan-. Saturday, July 29, 2006. Bath - England's City Of Gold. I went for the Malteasers with Minstrils since I didn't think I could handle anything as rich as, say, a Cherry Cheesecake mixed with a Cadbury's Fruit and Nut Bar, and even that was extremely filling. Posted by heather-in-italia @ 2:45 PM. Thursday, July 27, 2006. To Blog Or Not To Blog. Tomorrow is Bath so I am sure I will have something to say about that. After all, it appears to be...

A life in the life of my life. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Dream of Dreams. come true. Thanks to my brother, Chaf about 4-5 years ago, I've been a heavy house and electronica music fan since then. He introduced me to the likes of Prodigy, Prozzak (I know it's not REALLY electronica) and other influential bands of the likes. But he showed me one band that changed the way I looked at music, and drived me to follow house music to see what lied in store. I guess you've gather: I'm a pretty big fan.

A life in the life of my life. Thursday, August 31, 2006. Seems like a lot of things have become new in my life recently. Traded in my old Nintendo DS for the Nintendo DSLite, which is mighty freaking sweet if you ask me. Finally got my new computer, going from 9 gigabytes on my old computer to 111 gigabytes on this one. Feel the free Dany =D. If you mess up or go off beat, it sounds all messed. Pretty cool eh? The only thing that isn't "new", still feels like the newest thing in my life. She's great.

A life in the life of my life. Friday, July 21, 2006. I've finally found the sound I've been searching for. I've looked through House, Ambience, Industrial. and those are three great genres, may I add, and I love them to death - but I've recently run into an artist that blows my mind. He combines quick acid breakbeats yet soothing ambience and house beats into a spew of fast-paced, yet utterly relaxing songs. His name? They are about Spelling B's, and Scrabble. simple things right? He has been telling me...

Tales from Abroad by Omiya -an account of my life in Japan-. Thursday, August 31, 2006. The Solution Is Elementary, My Dear Watson". After my previous post, I am glad to announce that my rather messy situation has been resolved thanks to a few very helpful individuals. During the time between the 8th and the 19th, I will stay in a total of three different households! The last time I saw Ayumi in Kyoto, we hardly knew each other except for through our email exchanges. Actually, come to think of it, it...
