On Friday night I drove to Nola, and Chris drove us to Houma. He started his own business and now, instead of putting shows together for House of Blues, he's his own boss and puts together shows for a few other places.one being the City Club in Houma. Friday was Sons of William with Jake Smith. There's a baby head on the sound board. No more body parts.

Livin Large, Lovin Life. The endless pursuit of the Good Life. One more week. 7 days. That's it. I am now getting nervous about getting back to school. Some of the courses I am taking this semester are tough and it has been 3 years since I took some of the prereqs. I really hope that all that math comes back to me quickly. I thought of another option: What if I were to pay a smart asian kid to take all my classes for me and I just collect the diploma? I could get away with that right? Wtf is a hooch?

That was the last good meal that I ate in Houston before I left to fly here and I can't wait to have it again. Steak and shrimp fajitas, side of queso and chile con carne.mmmm Ninfa's. Sorry, I just had some Velveeta and salsa thing that by buddy Bill cooked up and it only made me long for greener pastures. I am officially in the single digits now. 9 days. I used to order food to-go from the College Drive location.that was easily 8 years ago, so we'll ignore that for now. It's located at the corner of Jefferson and Lobdell, between Baskin Robbins and Little Wars, which I assume is a gaming thing. Feb 22nd, 2010. I'm a huge fan of Monjuni's. And their Aurora sauce, so I tend to crave it specifically. They have two locations in Baton Rouge, one on Jefferson Hwy (close to Government) and the other on Highland Rd (in the Kenilworth Shopping Center). When I went recently, set on ordering pasta, the waitress was all "today's soup is twice baked potato" so I was like "fine". It was quite heavenly.
