An Introvert's Response Part One: What introversion isn't. Feb 10th, 2013 at 4:22 PM. This is not to say that introverts arent shy. Some are; probably a higher percentage of introverts are shy than extroverts. But Ive known several introverts who arent shy at all, and my best friend is an extrovert who used to be incredibly shy. But as a definition, introversion is not a dislike of people or a fear of people; its a need to have time away from people. 3 A Result of a Difficult Childhood. 4 A Comfort Zone.

You know what would make the Mommy wars go away? Apr 19th, 2013 at 10:30 PM. NOTHING I do will make her feel better right then. If someone decided to videotape me for a day, they could pull out a hundred moments of bad parenting to judge me on. But if they paid attention to the whole day, most days, theyd see a pretty good parent. I think most of us feel this way most days. Charlie's coming home today! Jul 25th, 2013 at 10:47 PM. Im caffeinated and wide awake. Hopefully Ill be able to sleep when its time to, but Ill definitely be fine until we get back home. So the last hurdle is having to get E up to go pick up Charlie. Its a time when she frequently wakes up, so Im hoping itll be a good time sleep cycle-wise and wont be too disruptive to her sleep. On Wednesday I received my advance copy of The True Story of Sea Feather and a bottle of wine from my publisher. On Friday, I took the wine with me to the MD/DE/WV SCBWI Winter Retreat at Blue Mountain Retreat Center (http:/ bluemountainretreat.org) across the river from Harper's Ferry, WV in Knoxville, MD. Oct 7th, 2013 at 8:34 PM. My daughters 3rd birthday and birthday party are on Saturday, and at 38 weeks pregnant, my son could arrive any day. Mom of the Year over here CANT FIND HER CAMERA! And I need to find it by Friday at the latest, because I remember very distinctly noting that its batteries were dying right before putting it somewhere where E couldnt get her hands on it. Ive checked all my usual out-of-reach places, and so far, no luck. Phone pictures arent going to cut it! We're still at needing ...

We were finally matched with our daughter on August 5th and have received the Letter of Acceptance from the Chinese government! Usually the letter takes 2-3 months to arrive.
