Monday, June 18, 2007. I've got to say, I have a new appreciation for Janitors! Yes, I ment to capitalize that, they deserve the respect! After all, isn't that what the church pays them to do! Today, I put in some hours at the church helping to clean. I did bathrooms (there are 23 toliets, 9 urinels, and 14 sinks), cleaned sunday school classrooms, vacuumed hallways, vacummed gymnasium, cleaned the "teen center", and set tables and chairs. Saturday, April 5, 2008. Ropp Dairy Cheese Farm. Thursday April 3rd, the kids and I took a field trip to Bloomington, IL. We visited Ropp Dairy Farm. The kids were able to feed some baby jersey cows, try their hand at milking (at least they got to feel an utter! Sample some cheese made fresh from Jersey Cow milk, and try out other "dairy farm" stuff. I learned something that day also, and I wanted to pass it along. 2% Milk contains 2% fat. Makes sense right! It sounds a lot healthier!
