Knitting and so on. Lots of knitting, a bit of crochet and some ideas for recycling projects. Samstag, 29. November 2014. These mitts basically consist of a 10-stitch wide strip that winds around the wrists and hands. The strip is attached as you work, so no sewing is required. They are all in garter stitch and a nice way to show of variegated yarn. Left-hand and right-hand mitt are mirror inverted, so the directions are slightly different. This work by Knitting and so on. Some have all the craft supplies unceremoniously dumped into bins, some have dedicated sections for each craft supply type. Thursday, 9 April 2015. I've had it in my head for awhile now, that pineapple just does not have a large enough roll in the world of food preservation and canning. And why not? Pineapple is naturally sweet and acidic. A perfect combination for preserving. 2 cups pineapple (fresh or canned). 2 cups pineapple juice. 3 cups brown sugar. Put all ingredients in heavy bottom pot except for vanilla bean. Cut vanilla bean in half and scrape the seeds into the pot, then toss the bean in the pot for extra flavour.
