Just another WordPress.com site. Saturday, October 30th. I LOVE the WEMA Centre. Halloween. I think if I were home I’d be Eliza Thornberry from the Wild Thornberriys. That seems fitting. As it is, I have spent the entire day lounging around the house reading. It has been wonderful. I woke up at 5:30, ran, did my laundry, and have since read over half of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, enough to finish the novel. Tuesday, November 2. Today was an amazing day. Zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom. Fire with the devil.

Just another WordPress.com site. It’s beginning to physically hurt to be away from home. In two days I leave for Mombasa, which in a way feels like starting all over. I don’t know why it’s so difficult for me to imagine six more weeks… but it definitely is. It’s almost impossible. To be honest, I ache for something familiar. There’s something about days like today, though, where I feel both physically and emotionally exhausted, that it’s hard not to think of my own, warm bed back home. Sunday, October 24.

Monday, 30 May 2011. Cherry Dress made from Simplicity pattern 3833. Tuesday, 1 March 2011. No Sew Fleece Blanket. This is a very simple fleece blanket. It doesn't take long to make and requires no sewing so it's ideal for beginners. Two pieces of fleece fabric the same size. For this blanket I used pieces 150cm/150cm. Line your fabric up with one piece on top of the other. Cut a 3" sqaure out of each corner of your fabric. Along each side of your fabric cut slits measuring 3" deep and 1" across.
