A blog of my hiking and photography journey. The Lobby of Le Chateau Frontenac. December 18, 2013. Bull; 0 Comments. This is a long exposure HDR from the lobby of Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. I loved the warm tones of the marble floor and incredible woodwork. The picture is from 8:00pm in the summer so it is still bright outside, but the dimness of the lobby and my usage of ISO 100 means that the shutter needed to stay open for a long time. The park opened in 1962 and originally had a rifle range and some skeet shooting areas. These are now closed but the area is still open to hikers and others who wish to enjoy the natural area.
