Just watching that first scene of the producer, Linda Goldstein Knowlton, adopting her own Chinese daughter brought everything back, and the tears started to roll. I had not expected to be emotionally taken in within the first three minutes of the film. Somewhere Between is so much more than a documentary. It is an intertwining of memoir in film. عشق در همین نزدیکیست. عشق ابدیست و اگر نباشد عشق نیست. ۸۸/۲/۱۸ دیروز جمعه بود. نوشته شده در شنبه نوزدهم اردیبهشت ۱۳۸۸ساعت 20:40 توسط ماهیه عاشق پرواز امین. رفتم، مرا ببخش و مگو او وفا نداشت. راهی بجز گريز برايم نمانده بود. اين عشق آتشين پر از درد بی اميد. در وادی گناه و جنونم كشانده بود. رفتم، كه داغ بوسه پر حسرت ترا. با اشك های ديده ز لب شستشو دهم. رفتم كه ناتمام بمانم در اين سرود. رفتم كه با نگفته بخود آبرو دهم. رفتم مگو، مگو، كه چرا رفت، ننگ بود. عشق من و نياز تو و سوز و ساز ما. از آغاز همین بوده.
