Hydrocephalus is a congenital condition which is an accumulation of spinal fluid in the ventricles of the brain. Just another WordPress.com weblog. 07212010 – Yet Another Surgery Scheduled. We are looking forward to Joshua getting his NG tube out and a G tube placed in his abdomen. The ENT will also be pumping up the half of the vocal chords that have remained unmoved and in the open position. Hopefully Joshua will be able to eat some and his voice may become less garbled. Really looking forward to some progress! The relationship between Lauren and Josh has grown much stronger through all this! Date : July 22, 2010.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. We have wished, hoped and prayed that Joshua’s tumor would shrink or disolve. But after our visit to Duke on Tuesday, we found that it has actually grown by 20%. We will be going ahead with surgery as soon as they can coordinate the schedules of the Chief Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Duke, and a Microscopic Neurosurgeon which they are enlisting the help of. Documentary of a Miracle. This blog is about our son Paul and his miraculous life. So far, in 13 months, he has been diagnosed with viral meningitis, ear infections, a broken collarbone, life-threatening cancer, and nodular fasciitis. Thank God some of those diagnoses have turned out to be incorrect. He is an amazing source of joy and hope and inspiration in our house; and, THANK GOD, he is now miraculously healthy! We're now turning the attention of this blog to praying for other children fighting cancer.
