The other day, I was watching "American Inventor" and I got to thinking and remembering about a couple books that I really, REALLY loved as a child. The second book was a big children's joke book, but it also had a section for inventions that "you wish existed" Mostly it was a joke/riddle book. But it had this chapter for crazy inventions. If anyone can help me remember and/or find these books from the 1980's-1990's, I'd really appreciate it. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post.

I have this vague memory of this TV show from my childhood. I don't really remember the premise, all the characters, and for the life of me I don't remember the name of the show. I do remember this:. 1 It had puppets in it with live actors. Obviously a kids show. 2 One of the puppets was a mouse/rat. It was female and had a poofy boa which I beleive was pink. I have some inclination to say this mouse/rat wanted to be a movie star. I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy, but I swear I remember this show.

No lies, just love (. No lies, just love. Hi in my history class we are doing a pop culture project. My assignment is to describe how music effected students (highschool-college) in the 80s. If any of you were students in the 80s, or just have a good idea of how it was,. Could you please tell me how music effected you then (a particular song or band or music fashion., ect.). Thank you so much for your help. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post.

Saw George perform it in London last week, made YouTube vid! Oh wow I found an 80s community on LJ! I hope so. Remember the song Last Christmas? They play it all the time this time of year. Well, last week in London, George Michael performed 5 concerts, I went to ALL of them! Best time of my life. I went from Canada for it. He sang a lot of old songs and some Wham! Songs too. There was going to be a Wham! Fans would gather at pubs to talk about Wham! And new George songs. Amazing! I made my 1st ever YouT...

Moon 0 music (. What about the video games, eh? Computer games in large boxes all the way - especially the super-old ones that were on floppy discs :D. Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island have to be favourites. But, we are forgetting all the amazing games from the nineties, anyhow, such as (to name a few):. Star Wars (Jedi Knight, etc.). Tomb Raider I, II and III. And other such classics :D. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post.

Silly Ideas/Worries You Had As a Kid: backintheday
http://backintheday.livejournal.com/78480.html
Silly Ideas/Worries You Had As a Kid. Growing up, I'm sure most of us had our fears and worries. I'm also pretty sure that now, looking back, many of them were pretty silly. What worries, fears, ideas, did you all have as a kid, that you realize now were pretty ridiculous? I know that when I was a little kid, I used to get scared thinking that I could be arrested by the police if once in a while, I forgot to brush my teeth, or put (or keep) my seatbelt on while in the car. I guess I was a weird kid :P.
