Spring Peeper Farm: December 2014
http://springpeeperfarm-lisa.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 27, 2014. It's the Most Busiest Time of the Year! Before Christmas was a busy time, ok busier than usual. Our Christmas tree farmer friend called and said he had trees for us! So off to the woods we went. It was one of the only weekends we had snow this year. It was so pretty, but alas, it didn't last long. I had to sit on the trees so Dave could strap them down. But it'll be worth it! The residents loved it! I'm not sure who they loved more, Santa or Emilie. Santa and "his dad". I've ...

Spring Peeper Farm: May 2015
http://springpeeperfarm-lisa.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 25, 2015. Nothing is ever normal here on Spring Peeper Farm. This morning I was three minutes away from going live on. CTV Morning Live when the phone starts to ring. Who on earth calls at 7:12am? So I scream (yes, very professional I know) to Jamie,. He answers the phone, listens and then hangs up and runs BEHIND ME, 2 minutes before Cyril Lunney says " And now we have Lisa Doucette our correspondent from Concession." in his PJ bottoms and no shirt. To see what is outside. So I go out and ca...

Monday, July 27, 2015. I know ya'll come to my blog for the awesome goat pictures. But for once we are going to have a change of pace. Just tranquil pictures of my flowers around the property. So sit back and enjoy the peaceful. Different colour Bee Balm. Tree lily (these lilies are taller than I am). See now wasn't that soothing. Ok, I couldn't leave without one picture. Have a Blessed Evening! Wednesday, July 22, 2015. After 22 years of wedded bliss. It was our anniversary last week). Me-Yes, I saw the...

Spring Peeper Farm: February 2015
http://springpeeperfarm-lisa.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 16, 2015. Peeper's First Day at School. Yes, he was nervous. Just like any first grader would be. Especially if you're starting in high school. St Mary's Bay Academy was having a fund raiser to buy goats for women in. Third world countries so they asked if they could borrow Peeper as a prop. I was willing, but he wasn't. So one of the students had to carry him in. But who's to blame him. Look at the amount of people that was staring at him. Just a small case of stage fright. I make mashe...

Spring Peeper Farm: Goat Trip!
http://springpeeperfarm-lisa.blogspot.com/2015/04/goat-trip.html
Monday, April 6, 2015. Earlier this winter we had the misfortune of having to put Pisnak down. He had major issues with his joints and hooves. We figure that when he was a kid we had fed him milk from Febe that contained the CAE virus. So even though he was a wonderful buck, I couldn't stand to see him in such pain. We even tried pain killers but it got that even they didn't work. So we chose to euthanize him. Such is life on a farm. It's sad, but it happens. We're going after quality goats and milk.

Spring Peeper Farm: January 2015
http://springpeeperfarm-lisa.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Hubby asked whilst we were in the honey aisle at the grocery store. I think it's time we got bees.". This from the man that said if I ever got bees he's be armed with a case of Raid Foam. Maybe 2015 will be better. Have a Blessed Evening. If there was ever a year I wanted gone, it was this one and I've had some doozies in my time. Bad things that happened. Evil wild turkeys ruined my spinach garden. We lost the hay barn in a snow storm. My veggie stand didn't make a hit. I haven...

Woodynook Creations: April 2014
http://woodynookcreations.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 24, 2014. My little Bantam hen Marigold hatched out 3 chicks on Easter Sunday. They are adorable, and I sure won't have trouble remembering their birthdays. I took a walk on the creek trail this afternoon, and really didn't see much. The skunk cabbage is out and some wild onions. That was all. Not even any wildlife. We've had some warm days, but no warm rain yet, and Tuesday we had snow again, so things are still hibernating I guess. Hope all is going well for everyone. Looking upstream o...

Woodynook Creations: Sunday morning and the creek trail.
http://woodynookcreations.blogspot.com/2014/04/sunday-morning-and-creek-trail.html
Sunday, April 13, 2014. Sunday morning and the creek trail. Most of these shots were taken along the creek trail I walk. It is a gorgeous day, although really windy, and a good time to survey the damage done after the ice jam on the creek this winter. This is the creek looking West, or downstream. That tree leaning over the water is a Sycamore tree, and has been leaning like this for many years. Looking upstream or East. The only wildlife I saw were these two male Mallard ducks. No Skunk Cabbage yet.

Woodynook Creations: Sunday June 29th
http://woodynookcreations.blogspot.com/2014/06/sunday-june-29th.html
Sunday, June 29, 2014. I have had 3 Chipmunks spending time beneath my bird feeders. I don't think this one can possibly get any more sunflower seeds in his pouches. Maple leaves forming have the most beautiful red color. One pair of my homing pigeons have decided to nest in the rafters of the barn, and these are their first offspring. I really don't have room for any more, but The parents won't come back to their pen inside. sigh. Chicory is in full bloom, and it is one of my summer time favorite flowers.
