Ash Oldfield: Fact of Fiction? Oranges
http://www.ashleigholdfield.com/2015/03/fact-of-fiction-oranges.html
Monday, March 23, 2015. When I was around five or six years of age, I had a bedroom all to myself, whereas my three brothers shared a room. Their room was right next door to mine, and I could hear everything that went on in their room if I pressed my ear up against the wall. My two oldest brothers, 8 and 10 years old at the time, slept in bunk beds. My little brother, 3 at the time, slept in a bed on the opposite side of the room. Hey, I have an orange for you,' the brother on the top bunk would whisper.

Ash Oldfield: February 2015
http://www.ashleigholdfield.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 23, 2015. Welcome to the latest segment on my blog, Fact or Fiction, wherein I tell you a story and you need to figure out if I am telling the truth, or if I am simply making it up. One day, when I was around fifteen years old, I was sitting on my bed reading. Suddenly, I heard a strange buzzing sound coming from behind my bedroom wall. Hmm,' I thought to myself, 'that sounds an awful lot like bees.'. He scoffed. 'Bees? I don't think so. You're imagining things.'. Links to this post.

http://www.ashleigholdfield.com/p/bio.html
Ashleigh Oldfield is a fantasy fiction and children’s writer from Melbourne, Australia. Always having a love for the written word, Ashleigh wrote her first stories by moonlight at the tender age of five, long after her parents thought she had gone to bed. To this very day Ashleigh still prefers to write by the light of the moon long after any sensible person has succumbed to sleep. Ashleigh's debut novel is due for publication in 2016. Ash Oldfield: December 2014
http://www.ashleigholdfield.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 1, 2014. NaNoWriMo 2014 Wrap Up. I looked at the calendar today and saw that it is the 1st of December. This came as a bit of a shock for me, and I was a little bit sad to realise that this means I have no more time to complete my 2014 NaNoWriMo. I only managed 10,722 words due to a much busier schedule than I had originally anticipated (see my previous post. However, I am far from disheartened. I have learned a lot from this year's NaNo. Chiefly:. Happy writing, everyone! My books can b...

http://www.ashleigholdfield.com/2015/03/yesterday-was-good-day-for-me.html
Thursday, March 5, 2015. Novel Writing Stage: Complete. Yesterday was a good day for me. I finished writing a novel, which has been sent out to my lovely beta readers for feedback. Specifically, this book is the second in my Rachaya series, the first of which is due for publication at some point this year. But for now I am going to take a break from writing, hopefully recharge my batteries. I have little Peanut here to keep me company:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
