My 2 Beautiful Boys. Monday, August 17, 2009. We had the big party yesterday at our house. This is the first birthday party I have ever thrown at our house. I much prefer to just rent someplace and not have to worry about cleaning, food, and oh, did I say cleaning! We had 16 kids at our place yesterday for the party. The Edward Jones recruiter called me this afternoon to tell me that I am still a front running candidate, but Mike still is in the 'interviewing process' and will have a decision by Friday. Perfect weather for a group of kiddos that have been cooped up inside because of all the yucky weather we'd been having. Leyton and Grant had a blast at their party! The pride came on the heels of a time when Leyton did something where we were really disappointed in him. He lied about getting in trouble at school. My 2 Beautiful Boys. Friday, February 12, 2010. Snow Day Part 2. We've had so much fun the past two days playing in the snow! DFW got a record breaking 12 inches of snowfall in a 24 hour period. The most in recorded history. AND, it was a perfect snow to play in, build a snowman in, and for snowball fights! Wet, sticky snow. Plus, the temps have been just perfect for it too. They stayed in the upper 30's/low 40's and that means you can play in the snow and not freeze to death while you're playing. My son...
