A Penny Thought: August 2009
http://apennythought.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 29, 2009. I have spent countless hours the past few weeks getting ready for my new adventures in teaching first grade. Here is a glimpse inside my classroom. We will start with a caterpillar/butterfly/Eric Carle. My boards are cute, but they don't hold a candle to Mrs. Z. She painted her own paper and free-hand cuts her letters. I love-love the sun! This shiny, organized, *empty* classroom gives me peace just like when I look at a sleeping child. Tranquil, sweet, perfect, full of hope!

A Penny Thought: Easter in Willows
http://apennythought.blogspot.com/2010/05/easter-in-willows.html
Saturday, May 15, 2010. It was a different Easter this year. I was home with just Grace and Reagan. The weekend coincided with the annual Willow Weekend. You see, my dad and brother are cattle ranchers and they winter their cattle in Willows, California. Each spring my husband makes a huge sacrifice. A Penny Thought: October 2009
http://apennythought.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 15, 2009. We volunteered to host a potluck at our house for the Knights of Columbus and others in the church who volunteered at the booths during Round Up. Wouldn't you know it, we had our first really good fall rainstorm that day! The house was a welcomed shelter for about 15 little kids that day. Eventually the rain slowed down and everyone could warm up and dry off by Marc's fire. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship, despite the damp weather! What have I done. The Best Lunch Ever. A litt...

Sunday, May 30, 2010. It looks like we found her 'thing'! This year and loves it. -She doesn't jump up and down and talk about it non-stop. -She complains about getting ready to go. -But when we get there. she transforms to Ms. Grace. She says, 'Yes sir' and 'Yes ma'am'. About every 2 1/2 months she has the opportunity to test for a new belt level. Her instructors 'get' Grace. They allow her to test with another student. My favorite part of TKD. After going 2 x's. I wish I could say the same thing about ...

A Penny Thought: September 2009
http://apennythought.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 15, 2009. If you look *really* close - in front and just below the front tire - you can see a person with their arm up in the air. That is me! That is me rocking to Miley Cyrus in Portland with my girls. It was a wonderful night. After the concert we stayed in the same motel that Miley had stayed at the night before. The Hotel Monaco. It was a memorable evening for mom, girls and friends! Photo: http:/ justjaredjr.buzznet.com/. Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Fact families of 9. Thank yo...

A Penny Thought: February 2010
http://apennythought.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 27, 2010. Get ready, get set, go! Still 7 months away. But today was a beautiful, sun-shiny, 60 degree day a wonderful start to what I hope will be a wonderful adventure. Marathon Training! Actually, I am just in training for the training. The 'real' training will begin in June. Race day will be 10-10-10. I love cool dates and thought this seemed like a perfect day to achieve a pretty lofty goal. First I bought the book. Then I bought the gear. Now it's time to get ready, get set and go.

A Penny Thought: Track
http://apennythought.blogspot.com/2010/05/track.html
Sunday, May 23, 2010. Taryn participated on the Sunridge Middle School track team this spring. In addition to her running events she tried a variety of field events including: the long jump, the high jump, and the javelin. Here she is making her move on the final corner of the 800. She sucked up both of these girls and got 3rd place. I wonder why she thinks she can do more than she really can? May 30, 2010 at 4:46 PM. Cheap FIFA 15 Coins. May 2, 2015 at 1:13 AM.
